Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lb (750 g) ripped tomato;
- 3/4 lb (375 g) minced frank steak or ground lean beef;
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil;
- Sea salt, adjust for taste.
For marinate
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch;
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt;
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger;
- 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil.
Recipe:
Make about 2 cups
- Cut tomato to 1 1/2” (3 cm) cubes;
- Cook to sauce like consistence in a sauce pan over medium heat;
- Set aside;
- Mince frank steak;
- Add minced ginger, cornstarch and sea salt;
- Marinate for 5 -10 minutes;
- Add vegetable oil;
- Marinate for another 5 -10 minutes;
- Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to a large sauce pan/wok over medium high heat;
- Add minced beef and spread it out evenly;
- Cook until beef change color;
- Pour in tomato sauce;
- It is done when it comes back to a boil;
- Season with sea salt, adjust to taste;
- Plate and serve hot with rice.
