Ingredients:
- 1 lb (0.5 kg) fresh chow fun (flat rice) noodles;
- 8 oz (250 g) store bought BBQ pork;
- 4 oz (125 g) bean sprouts, keep in cold water until cooking;
- 1 tablespoon vegetable/canola oil;
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce;
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt;
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water.
Recipe:
Serving for 2
- Cut BBQ pork to 3/8” (1 cm) cubes;
- Cut chow fun noodles to 3/8” (1 cm) slices;
- Pull the noodles apart and set aside;
- Add vegetable/canola oil to a wok/large sauté pan over medium high heat;
- Add a pinch sea salt;
- Drain bean sprouts and stir fry in the wok when the oil gets hot;
- Stir fry and cover for 2 minutes;
- Take them out and leave the oil in the wok;
- Add noodles to the wok slowly to avoid them to stick together;
- Add BBQ pork and stir fry;
- Mix in dark soy to add color;
- Add bean sprouts and stir fry together;
- Plate it and top with thinly sliced scallion, serve immediately.
