Pork Liver Soup with Ginger 豬肝薑湯

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece pork liver, about 3/4 lb (375 g);
  • 1 tablespoon finely julienne ginger;
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil;
  • 2 cups (480 ml) water;
  • Sea salt.

Recipe:

Serving for 2

Make about 2 cups

  1. Slice pork liver to 3/16” (1/2 cm) thick;
  2. Mix in julienne ginger;
  3. Add 2 cups (480 ml) water in a bowl and soak for at least 2 hours;
  4. Pour in a medium soup pot over medium high heat;
  5. Add 1/4 teaspoon sea salt and 1/2 teaespoon vegetable oil;
  6. It is done when it comes back to a boil;
  7. Don’t over cook;
  8. Spoon soup to a bowl, serve hot.
