Ingredients:
- 1 lb (0.5 kg) spare ribs or pork chops;
- 2 teaspoons shrimp sauce;
- 1 small piece ginger, peel and finely mince (about 1 tablespoon);
- 4 cloves garlic, peel and finely mince (about 1/2 tablespoon);
- A pinch of corn starch;
- 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil;
- 1 teaspoon cane sugar;
- 2 - 3 spicy peppers, optional.
Recipe:
Serving for 2
- Cut spare ribs into 1” cubes;
- Wrap with paper towel if you want less sauce;
- Add a pinch of corn starch;
- Mix shrimp sauce, ginger, garlic and sugar;
- Add shrimp sauce mixture and spare ribs in a 1” deep bowl, leveled;
- Cut spicy peppers to small pieces;
- Add to spare ribs;
- Top with vegetable oil;
- Steam for 20 minutes, serve hot.
- Good with rice.
