Calamari Salad

Ingredients:

For calamari salad

  • 3/4 lb (375 g) frozen store bought pepper fry calamari;
  • 2 large endive, sliced.

For dressing

  • 2 large cloves garlic, finely chopped;
  • 4 oz. (125 g) mixed olives;
  • 1 large lemon, juiced;
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar;
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey;
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil;
  • Sea salt.

Serving for 2

For salad

  1. Put calamari in a 450˚F (230˚C) pre-heated oven for 12 minutes (or the instruction on the package);
  2. Layer the bottom of the plate with finely sliced endive;
  3. Add dressing;
  4. Place calamari on top;
  5. Serve warm.

For dressing

  1. Add lemon juice to finely chopped garlic and olives;
  2. Mix balsamic vinegar, honey and olive oil well;
  3. Add sea salt for taste.
