Malaysian Style Fried Chinese Anchovy 馬來西亞式炸鹽魚
Ingredients:
- Chinese anchovy block, about 4” (10 cm) X 5” (12.5 cm);
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil;
- 2 fresh lemon wedges.

Recipe:
Make about 30 pieces
- Cut Chinese anchovy into 3/4” (2 cm) square;
- Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pan/wok over medium heat;
- Add anchovy cubes;
- Take anchovy out when turn light golden brown;
- Place on paper towel to get rid of excess oil;
- Plate and serve with lemon wedges.
