Tomato with Cheese and Prosciutto Appetizer
  • Ingredients:
    2 kumato tomatoes or small tomatoes;
  • 1 piece easy melting cheese, cut to quarters;
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese;
  • 2 pieces prosciutto;
  • 4 tablespoons chopped olives;
  • 4 pieces anchovy.

Recipe:

Serving for 4 as an appetizer

  1. Cut tomatoes in half;
  2. Place each in a small ramekin;
  3. Put in toaster oven/oven until they are soft;
  4. Put a quarter piece of cheese on top;
  5. Back to the oven until cheese starts to melt;
  6. Sprinkle Parmigiano on top;
  7. Back to the oven until cheese starts to melt;
  8. Take them out and place on a small plate;
    Top with anchovy;
  9. Fold prosciutto to a rosette;
  10. Put on the side for decoration;
  11. Spoon chopped olives next to prosciutto;
  12. Serve warm.
