Ingredients:
- 1 lb (0.5 kg) fresh white or green asparagus;
- 1/2 cup garlic and butter bread crumb;
- 1/2 cup coarsely grated Fontena cheese;
- 1/2 cup coarsely grated Australian chedder cheese;
- Sea salt.
Recipe:
Serving for 2
- Clean and peel the tough part of the asparagus;
- Place them in a baking pan;
- Scatter 3/4 of the bread crumb on the asparagus, and all of the coarsely grated Fontena and Australian chedder cheese;
- Place in an 325˚F (160˚C) pre-heated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheeses start to melt;
- Scatter the rest of the bread crumb and put it in the broiler for 2 minutes but keep an eye on it to avoid burning;
- Serve hot.
