Ingredients:
- 2 cups brussels sprouts, about 1 1/2 lb (0.75 kg);
- 1/2 cup smoked sausage, cut to small cubes;
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil;
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar;
- 1 teaspoon truffle oil;
Sea salt.

Serving for 4 as a side dish
- Cut brussels sprouts to 1/8” (1/2 cm) slices;
- Add 1 teaspoon vegetable oil to a pan over medium high heat;
- Render the fat from smoked sausage;
- Take them out leave as much oil in the pan;
- Set smoked sausage aside;
- Sauté brussels sprouts;
- Add sea salt and 1 tablespoon water;
- Cover for 5 to 7 minutes or until brussels sprouts get soft;
- Add 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar;
- Mix sauté smoked sausage back;
- Plate and top with 1 teaspoon truffle oil;
- Serve warm.
